Core Support for Dust-Free Purification and Fresh Air – Skeleton Nonwoven Fabric
2026-03-10 00:00:00

HEPA Filters

HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filters achieve a filtration efficiency of over 99.97% for 0.3‑micron particles (1/200 the diameter of a human hair). They effectively trap pollutants such as smoke, bacteria, and pollen, making them essential for clean environments in healthcare, electronics manufacturing, biomedicine, and other industries.

Applications

These filters are widely used in both industrial and household settings:

  • Industrial: Electronics manufacturing, metallurgy, food and beverage production, ensuring cleanliness in dust‑free workshops.

  • Household: Antibacterial HEPA filters inhibit microbial growth and improve indoor air quality.

Materials & Structure

HEPA filters are mainly made of PP filter paper, glass fiber, composite PP+PET filter paper, and PTFE membrane. Custom sizes and structures (ducted/ducted‑free) are available for home air purifiers, automotive cabin air filters, and terminal air supply systems in industrial cleanrooms.

The ducted‑free design features low resistance and modularity, making it the preferred choice for energy‑efficient applications such as data centers and green buildings.

Core Filter Substrates

Skeleton non‑woven fabric serves as the core substrate for HEPA filters, providing stable structural support for high‑efficiency filtration through material and technological innovations.

  • J Standard Series: Made of polyester ultra‑short fibers via wet process. High stiffness, light weight, ideal for meltblown/nanofiber filtration materials.

  • JA Dense Series: Added microfibers for smaller, more uniform pores. Prevents activated carbon particle leakage, suitable for primary filtration and activated carbon composite processes.

  • JVY High‑Stiffness Series: Optimized fiber ratio and process. Improves air permeability while reducing weight and cost, supporting sustainable industry development.

  • JFR Flame‑Retardant Series: Unique production technology and special flame‑retardant formula. Low flammability, low smoke; slows fire spread and reduces toxic fume emissions.

  • JM Antibacterial & Anti‑Mold Series: Nano‑grade materials integrated via special processes. Antibacterial rate over 99% against common pathogens including E. coli and Klebsiella, effectively inhibiting bacterial growth.

  • JL Anti‑Viral Series: Designed against respiratory viruses. Effective against influenza A viruses H1N1 and H3N2, inhibiting viral transmission and reproduction.

  • JML Antibacterial & Anti‑Viral Series: Antibacterial rate over 99% against harmful bacteria (E. coli, S. aureus, Klebsiella) and influenza A viruses H3N2, H1N1.

  • JX Formaldehyde Removal Series: Acts as a frontline barrier for continuous air purification. Traps formaldehyde molecules and effectively reduces formaldehyde released from furniture.

Industry Trends

New materials such as nanofibers and electrostatic electret enhance filtration efficiency and reduce energy consumption. Intelligent monitoring systems enable remote maintenance and performance optimization.

As HEPA technology evolves toward higher efficiency and sustainability, skeleton non‑woven fabric — as a robust support for HEPA filters — will continue to drive innovation in functional materials, injecting new momentum into the air purification industry chain.
